The 2022 TT Round Up

It's been a big year for us here at TTHQ. We've completed our Bucket List, revealed the UK's Biggest Kidult, had some fun on scooter-friendly adventures and taken an epic journey from Land's End to John o'Groats on the Wonky Way, (virtually) travelling a whopping 5,188 miles. Plus, we said hello to some new Trail Writers in Northern Ireland, a new member of the Customer Happiness team and two brand new products - the Mystery Treasure Box and the Family Adventure Box.

Don't forget your task! Intel suggests bargain hunter Esther-May Shun has been sneaking powerful magnets into the houses' hammers. Now they bang down after just one bid, allowing her to fill her pockets with priceless bargains. Can you subtly crack the code that will demagnetise the gavels and thwart Ester-May's schemes?

Hemel Hempstead

Hemel Hempstead spy mission Treasure Trail

Take on a spy mission Trail in Hertfordshire, exploring the modern town centre of Hemel Hempstead. Weave through the shopping streets and pick up vital clues in the Water Gardens. You'll even pay a visit to the town's 'Magic Roundabout' as you advance.

In 2013, Hemel Hempstead won a popular vote to be named 'Britain's ugliest town'. Bonkers architect Zebedee Goldfinger wants the accolade again. He's blackmailing town planners to approve his plans, threatening to unleash chaos on the Magic Roundabout if they don't! Can you put an end to this scheme?

Antrim - Castle Gardens

This treasure hunt Trail in Antrim (Antrìm/Aontroim), Northern Ireland, takes you on a quest around the castle and its gardens as you hunt for sneaky clues and long-lost jewels. Begin your expedition on the banks of Lough Neagh, then wind your way along Six Mile Water as you travel towards the castle.

Your task is to reveal the location of a treasure trove stashed away by Lady Marian before she and her pet wolfhound fled the castle to escape the boatloads of enemies landing on the shores of the lough. Even all these centuries later, the precious hoard is still to be unearthed, but a newly discovered map and a curious set of clues may be the key...

Long ago, the mummified hand of St James the Apostle was given to Reading Abbey by Henry I's daughter Mathilda. Over the last 900(ish) years, the relic has found itself in a number of unusual places. But did it really belong to one of Jesus' closest friends? We need YOU to track down an ancient manuscript that reveals the shocking truth…

Welton and the Yorkshire Wolds Way

This treasure hunt Trail takes you on an expedition through the pretty village of Welton and along the Yorkshire Wolds Way in East Yorkshire. Venture along woodland paths, through winding streets and beside the beck as you search high and low for the vital clues.

This is a tree-mendous quest for intrepid explorers. Ramblers Barb Dwyer and Theresa Green have unearthed a curious map hidden in a porcelain casket within the roots of a newly-fallen tree. They need help from the best treasure seekers (YOU) to track down the treasure trove before rivals in nearby Melton reach it.

Yoxall and Kings Bromley

Yoxall and Kings Bromley spy mission Treasure Trail

On this spy mission Trail in Staffordshire, you'll hunt for sneaky clues in both Yoxall and Kings Bromley with the help of your undercover vehicle. Discover hidden gems in the two villages as you wind through the streets and along the river on your assignment.

Fraud Squad desperately need help from covert operatives to apprehend dodgy builder Lee Nings. Apparently, when he rebuilt Yoxall Bridge, he charged both villages in full! Crack the code to a vault containing all of Lee’s incriminating documents, and he'll finally be put behind bars.

This treasure hunt Trail will have you roaming around a different side of Nottingham, trekking through Highfields Park and dodging booby traps beside the University buildings. Unlock fascinating facts about this historic park as you track down the long-lost royal loot.

Long, long ago, King Charles I signalled the start of the English Civil War at Nottingham Castle. To keep his gold safe, he sent Sir Doug Dytche out to the nearby village of Keighton to bury it. The village disappeared over time, but even when it was rediscovered in 1941, the historical hoard was nowhere to be found. Can you solve the sneaky clues to track it down?

St Columb Major

On this treasure hunt Trail, you'll venture through the ancient town of St Columb Major (S. Colom Veur) in Cornwall. Weave through the winding streets and dodge booby traps beside historic buildings. You don't have far to go, but there's plenty to see - just don't forget your vital quest.

The annual hurling of the silver ball is in jeopardy! Last year's champion, Luca Timgo, went to get the ball ready for the next game, but it was missing. With the townsfolk and the countrymen quarrelling over who should search for the silver ball, Luca has asked YOU to track it down before the next match.

Tissington - A Hidden Village

This detective mystery Trail in Derbyshire will have you patrolling around Tissington, a private village with public access. Investigate around old buildings and beside green spaces, paying close attention to the curious wells dotted around the crime scene as you hunt down the stolen treasure.

At Sir Richard's annual party, a great event that every village resident is invited to, someone with sticky fingers stole Mother's tiara! Determined to unmask the intruder who snuck in to pinch the priceless piece, Sir Richard needs TOP detectives (YOU) to crack the clues around the village and identify the culprit. Good luck!

This detective mystery Trail will take you through the heart of the quaint village of Wymeswold in Leicestershire. Investigate along The Stockwell and duck down winding streets in your hunt for the culprit and the incriminating evidence they left behind.

Disaster has struck at the annual duck race! A person or persons unknown has broken into the secure duck store and stolen them. Luckily, as the masked villain fled the scene, they scattered clues to their identity. Can YOU crack the clues, identify the duck-napper and retrieve the poor ducks so the beloved event can go ahead?

York - Around the City Walls

This treasure hunt Trail will have you roaming around York's ancient city walls in search of the long-lost loot. You'll see views of the magnificent York Minster and so many types of architecture, showing you the richness of the history of this fantastic city.

All the way back in 1644, York was under siege. Fearing for his family's safety and their fortune, the Sheriff of York tasked his daughter with escaping the city and hiding their family jewels before they could fall into the wrong hands. The jewels were never recovered, but a recently discovered map might be the key to tracking them down...

This spy mission Trail in Leicestershire will have you sneaking through an ancient town centre in your search for crucial clues. Explore Castle Donington's winding streets, discovering hidden gems, grand mansions and twisting tales about the market town as you covertly advance.

The town's in a sticky situation. According to our intel, Sticky Mickey is planning to coat Donington Park in glue, bringing an end to motorsports and music events in the area. Luckily, we know where the super-strong glue is stored. Can you reveal the combination lock code so we can confiscate it?

This detective mystery Trail will take you through the heart of the financial district. Explore the City of London's winding streets, investigate around famous buildings - like St Paul's Cathedral and the Sky Garden - and stumble upon hidden gems as you track down the culprit.

Locals are 'hopping' mad with the latest news - the Royal Exchange's iconic 'Gresham Grasshopper' weathervane has been stolen and replaced by a papier-mache replica! Detectives are struggling to whittle down their list of suspects - they need you to use your super sleuthing skills to crack the case before the replica withers away.

Birmingham - Squares and Statues

This spy mission Trail will lead you on a top-secret route around Birmingham's civic and cultural heart, bursting with Victorian and 21st-century pride (and plenty of clues to crack!). Keep your eyes peeled for some of the city's best landmarks as you go.

This is shaping up to be an interesting assignment, slippery spies. While setting puzzles around Birmingham's squares (just for fun), maths genius Al Jebra cracked his latest problem and decided to lock it away in a safe. But now he's forgotten the code! It's up to you to decipher the code and retrieve Al's notes before his rivals do.

Beddgelert - A Trail of Two Dragons

This new treasure hunt Trail in North Wales will take you on a magical journey around this pretty Eryri (Snowdonia) village of Beddgelert. Venture beside two rivers, and soak up the scenery as you weave along the backstreets hunting for the sneaky clues.

Be warned - this quest is only for the bravest of adventurers. You need to solve the clues scattered around the village to eliminate locations on your treasure map - which once belonged to Merlin himself - and track down the lair of the fearsome Red Dragon. Are you the legendary hero we've been waiting for?

New Brighton - A Smuggler's Tale

New Brighton - A Smuggler's Tale treasure hunt Treasure Trail

This treasure hunt Trail will have you weaving around the seaside town of New Brighton in Merseyside. There’s plenty of history and art to discover, plus bracing sea air with breathtaking views of Liverpool’s waterfront. Zoom around the marine lake, through the park and along the promenade, unearthing the curious clues as you go.

You'll need to be fearless to hear the tales of smuggling, wrecking and treasure hunting from the town's past. The treasure you seek belonged to none other than Mother Redcap, once a banker for pirates and smugglers, who stashed all her loot before vanishing into the night. Are you brave enough to track it down?
