Sticky Mickey has made a name for himself by covering the runway at East Midlands Airport with glue, causing chaos and preventing flights from taking off. Now, he has set his sights on Donington Park, with plans to use his super-strong glue to put an end to motorsports and music events in the area.

But fear not, agents. We have intel that the glue is stored in a bunker dating back to World War II, when the airport was an RAF base. Your mission is to locate and confiscate the glue before it's too late. Luckily, the eco-warriors have left a trail of clues scattered around the town to help you crack the combination lock on the bunker. What is a Treasure Trail?

Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore Castle Donington, there are a few things you need to know...

The route is friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that the town centre may be busy and sniffer dogs should be kept on leads.

The closest car park to the Trail start point is at Clapgun Street (DE74 2LE), less than a minute away from where your mission begins.

There are some fantastic events in Castle Donington’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful town. However, you may find that some of the Clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. Please check for events in advance.

There aren’t public toilets along the Trail route, but you will pass several cafes along the way. Pack supplies and find a grassy space to pause for a picnic as you go.

Looking for more things to do in Castle Donington? Make a day of it by visiting the town museum to learn more twisting tales about the local history, or the nearby East Midlands Aeropark for awesome aeroplane exhibits. Opening times for both are limited, so please check in advance.
