Please Note:
Devizes sits on a hill at the eastern edge of the Vale of Pewsey. With its origins in the 11th century and its first market in 1141, the town continues to hold weekly markets in the Market Place where the Trail starts.
The Trail is marked as pushchair friendly - please be aware that there are some gravelled and grassed areas encountered along the route of the Trail.
The reference to the Castle is within the backstory of the Trail. Although you get views of the modern castle, the Trail does not enter the private grounds.
