The Plymouth City, Hoe & Barbican Treasure Trail starts at:
Please Note:
The route is friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs, as alternative routes are provided to avoid grass and cobbles.
Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that it is a busy city centre so dogs will need to be kept on leads.
The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at The Pavillions, just a five minute walk away. Or, why not try Plymouth’s fantastic Park and Ride service?
There are some fantastic events in Plymouth’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this vibrant ocean city. However, you may find that some of the Clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions - particularly during the MTV Festival. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Plymouth Tourist Information.
There are public toilets available near Clues 13 and 17. The route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way, and there’s a great picnic spot halfway along.
Why not make a day of it and fit in some retail therapy at Drake Circus, or learn more twisting tales at the Mayflower Museum? If you’re up for an extra challenge, try your hand at treasure seeking on our Plymouth Waterfront Trail!
