Ready for an adventure?

A trail of clues awaits in

Windsor

Oh no, a royal engagement ring has gone missing in Royal Windsor! The beautiful Princess lost it during a stroll with her Prince earlier this week, and the entire Royal Household is in a frenzy. They've searched every corner of the town, but the ring is still nowhere to be found. Could it have been taken by a sneaky thief or lost by a visiting tourist?

But wait, there's more! Rumour has it that the notorious Jewel Bandits are also on the hunt for the ring. Can YOU, some of our most trusted treasure hunters, follow the couple's footsteps, solve the clues, and find the ring before the thieves do? The fate of the Royal Family and the entire kingdom rests in your hands!

Treasure Hunt Through Windsor's Gardens and Riverside

Treasure seekers, get ready for an exciting self-guided adventure through the beautiful gardens and along the rippling riverside of Royal Windsor. As you explore this historic town, you'll uncover hidden clues, fascinating history, and hidden gems, including the shortest street in Britain!

But be warned, there's a regally important task at hand. The Princess' engagement ring must be found, and only the most daring treasure hunters can uncover its secret location. Are YOU ready to take on the challenge and save the day?

Windsor is calling… Will YOU be the one to find the missing ring and be royally rewarded?

More Information:

Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore Windsor, there are a few things you need to know...

This route is not marked as friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs due to lots of cobbled streets, uneven ground and some flights of steps along the route.

Bring your four-legged friends along! This Trail is along a dog-friendly route.

The closest long-stay pay and display car parks to the Trail start point are at King Edward Court (SL4 1TF) and River Street (SL4 1QT), just a five-minute walk away. This Trail is also perfect for getting to Windsor by train!

There are some fantastic events in Windsor's calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful city. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. We recommend checking for events before you set off on your quest.

There are public toilets available towards the beginning of the Trail, and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way. The Alexandra Gardens make a great picnic spot if the weather is nice!

Looking for more things to do in Windsor? Make a day of it and explore the town’s regal history with a visit to the castle, treat yourself with a little retail therapy or take in the scenery with a boat trip along the Thames. You could even try our Windsor - Town and Parks or Eton Trails if you fancied another adventure!

Mini Explorer Club

We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.
