Mini Explorer Club
We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.
Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite
them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from
the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore St Columb Major (S. Colom Veur), there are a few things you need to know...
The route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users due to stretches with very narrow pavements and roads. However, those with adventurers in pushchairs should find this manageable.
There is one clue set in an area where dogs are prohibited, so please only bring your four-legged friends along if a member of your exploration team is able to wait with them while the others solve the clue.
The closest car park to the Trail start point is at Trekenning Road (TR9 6RR), very near your first clue.
There are some fantastic events in St Columb Major’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this historic town. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions, especially during the hurling. Please check event dates before setting off on your Trail adventure.
There are public toilets available towards the middle of the Trail and the route passes several pubs, a shop and a few cafes along the way. Pack supplies to enjoy a picnic in the park.
Looking for more things to do near St Columb Major? Make a day of it and visit the nearby Screech Owl Sanctuary to see some fascinating creatures up close, or venture up to Castle an Dinas, an impressive Iron Age hillfort.
