Navigating The Route
This is a circular investigation through Leek’s historic town centre, with detectives following pavements, cobbled streets and some hilly routes as they track down vital evidence.
There are some steep hills, cobbles and steps along the way, so the route is not suitable for wheelchairs, though should be manageable for pushchairs with care. You’ll also be working along some busy roads, so take extra care when crossing and keep your squad close at all times.
Getting There
Time to assemble your squad and open the case file:
St Edward’s Church gate, near Market Place (ST13 6AB) - Your official investigation start point.
Market Place Car Park (ST13 5HH) - The closest parking option, though it can get busy on market days, so arrive early if you can.
Need the Loo?
Even top detectives need a comfort break during a tricky case!
Public toilets can be found on Silk Street near the start of your investigation (typically open 8am–6pm).
There are also plenty of cafés and shops along the route for a well-timed refuel.
Bring Your Furry Sidekicks
Four-legged detectives are welcome on the case.
With town streets and a few greener pockets along the way, there’s plenty to explore - just keep leads handy near roads and busier areas.
Stakeouts & Picnic Breaks
If you need a break, Brough Park (near Clue 19) is a great spot for a picnic and a quick debrief before closing in on your final suspect.
