The Hidden Treasure of Kingussie - Can YOU Uncover the Secret?
In the early 1900s, a local dentist by the name of Dr Phil MacAvity led a double life. While he was known for his successful dental practice, he also had a secret career as a smuggler. Throughout his years of smuggling, he managed to amass a collection of hidden treasures that remained a mystery to everyone he knew. But after a mishap during his last expedition, his house and business were sold, and the new owners made a surprising discovery.
The Dentist's Treasure Trail Through Kingussie
Embark on an immersive self-guided Treasure Trail through the charming village of Kingussie and its scenic surroundings. As you follow the Trail, you'll unravel sneaky clues hidden in existing buildings, permanent landmarks, and monuments, leading you to the location of Dr MacAvity's hidden loot.
The circular walking Trail takes you from the centre of the village, through scenic woodland, past historic stone villas, and a historic cemetery, before reaching the famous Shinty Club and winding back through the village.
