The Missing Treasure of Blood Island - Can YOU Find It Before the Trinkets Do?

Ahoy there me hearties! Gather round and listen to the tale of Captain Lizzie Lobster-Legs, the most fearsome pirate to ever sail the Seven Seas. Legend has it that she buried her treasure on Blood Island, but it was never found. Now, it's up to YOU to follow the clues and uncover the missing bounty before it falls into the wrong hands.

Treasure Hunt Through Clevedon

Join forces with Local Museum Curator Iva Galleri as you embark on an exciting Treasure Hunt through the charming seaside town of Clevedon. Starting at the iconic Clevedon Pier, you'll explore the town's beautiful parks, gardens, and stunning Victorian architecture, following clues that will lead you to the treasure's location.

But beware, the notorious Trinkets Gang is also on the hunt for the treasure, and they'll stop at nothing to get their hands on it. Keep your wits about you, and use your sharp detective skills to solve the tricky clues and beat the Trinkets to the treasure.

What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Please Note:

Clevedon is a lovely seaside town with plenty to offer for all ages. It has a pebbled shoreline overlooked by wonderful Victorian architecture. The grade 1 listed pier dates from 1869 and is frequently visited by the Waverly paddle steamer and the Balmoral pleasure cruiser in the summer months when visitors can enjoy a cruise down the Somerset and Devon coast and to Wales. There are beautiful coastal walks in the area which have been the inspiration for many great writers including Tennyson, Thackeray and Coleridge.

The Salthouse fields on the seafront offer children's entertainment and refreshments for all. Take your swimming costume if you fancy a dip in the outdoor salt pool at Salthouse Fields.

There are toilets at the start of the Trail and towards the end. There is a playground, toilets and a cafe here which are near the end. There are refreshments right at the end as well as about half way round.

There are three small flights of steps so unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchairs although would be manageable with a light buggy.

You will start and finish near to the pier where there is plenty of roadside parking.
