Save Surrey Cyclists From A Sticky Mess!

Many years ago, in the remote mountain village of Knockofalot, a young boy named Krashan Topalova had a dream of becoming a champion racing cyclist. However, his parents forbade him from riding a bike due to his unbalanced nature. This led to an intense jealousy of cyclists, and now, as one of the world's most infamous supervillains, Topalova has a dastardly plan to sabotage the world-famous 'Tour de Box Hill' cycle race. But with your help, we can stop him!

Spy Mission Through Box Hill - Woodland & Hillside

Attention all secret agents! Your self-guided spy mission begins at the top of Box Hill, where you'll embark on a thrilling journey through woodland and across the hillside. Along the way, you'll take in breathtaking views along a section of the North Downs Way. But beware - Topalova's computer-controlled drones are on the lookout for you!

Finish your top-secret assignment at the famous Box Hill viewing point, away from prying eyes and enemy spies. But remember, you'll have to act naturally to avoid detection - after all, Topalova has an army of henchmen ready to stop you!

Are YOU ready to save the day and prevent Topalova's evil plan from succeeding?

What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Before you set off on your awesome adventure around Box Hill, there are a few things you need to know...

The route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs. This is due to difficult terrain along the way.

In winter months and after heavy periods of rain, parts of the route can be extremely muddy. If you're ready to tackle this, make sure you have suitable footwear.

Bring your four-legged friends along! This Trail is off the beaten path, so there are plenty of places for your dogs to have a runaround.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is across the road from the Box Hill Visitor Centre, just a minute walk away.

There are some fantastic events in Box Hill’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful natural area. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact the Box Hill Visitor Information centre.

Due to the rural nature of this Trail, the only place to stop for refreshments and a toilet break are at the start and end of the Trail.

Why not make a day of it and challenge yourself to one of our other local Trails to learn more twisting tales about the area?
