How to get your Trail booklet ready!
So, you've ordered a PDF 'Print at Home' version of your Trail? You're one smart cookie - now you have instant access to adventure! (If you haven't, find out how to get one here.)
But, before you pack your snacks, gather your squad and pick out your codename, you need to make sure your Trail is printed out and ready to go.
Your PDF Trail is made up of eight pages, which you can print single or double-sided. They can either be printed at the size they are (A5) or can be scaled up to A4 for easier reading. Your advanced printer settings may give you the option to turn the pages into a booklet to save on paper, but you'll need to grab the scissors and get crafty to make sure they're in the right order.
In case you can't quite suss out the order of pages, we’ve got you covered.
Firstly, start with the cover image, then the fun backstory and Trailing instructions.
The next four pages are the clues, directions, facts and top-secret activities.
The following page contains the Trail debrief (try to resist peeking at the outcome!) and finally, the treasure map, suspect gallery or mission answer grid, depending on your Trail theme.
Although the Trail can be viewed on a phone or tablet, that's not our intention; time for a digital detox. Get the family around one paper booklet, looking at each other, rather than screens - just like the old days!
However, if you can’t access a printer and are keen to explore right away, you'll find the PDF pages in order on your phone for viewing. Just remember to take a notebook and pen with you to jot down your answers!
