What to do in Devizes - The Devizes Castle Treasure Trail

Please Note: As much as we love people exploring on our Trails, now is not the right time. We want to help the NHS and protect all of you, so have decided to remove the facility for any Trail sales to be made on our website. As soon as social restrictions are relaxed, we'll make the Trails available again. If you would like to be informed as soon as this is, please drop us a note on the contact page.

Need a bit of retail therapy, or want to get a gift? You can still buy gift vouchers for future use.

The Devizes Treasure Trail starts at:

The Market Place
Devizes
Wiltshire
SN10 1JG
England

Devizes sits on a hill at the eastern edge of the Vale of Pewsey. With its origins in the 11th century and its first market in 1141, the town continues to hold weekly markets in the Market Place where the Trail starts.

Please Note - The Trail is marked as pushchair friendly - please be aware that there are some gravelled and grassed areas encountered along the route of the Trail.

The reference to the Castle is within the backstory of the Trail. Although you get views of the modern castle, the Trail does not enter the private grounds.
