The Mysterious Disappearance of Captain Jock Robin
Many years ago, Captain Jock Robin was a renowned ship's captain who would sail the Bay of Biscay and beyond. He was a man of great wealth, and after a successful haul, he would often celebrate at the Crown and Anchor. But one fateful night, he never returned to his vessel. Instead, he was found in an alley with his money gone. It's up to YOU to solve the mystery of his disappearance!
Crack the Mystery Once and for Oar!
Join DCI Hugh Dunnit as you submerge yourself into a fun, family-friendly detective mystery in the picturesque town of Penarth. Starting at the iconic Penarth Pier, you'll follow the Trail up to St Augustine's Church for breathtaking views of Cardiff Bay and the Severn Estuary. As you make your way back down to the shops and Alexandra Park, you'll uncover sneaky clues that will help you solve the mystery.
But beware, the Trail won't be easy. With fresh evidence and DCI Dunnit's sinking feeling, it's up to YOU to dampen someone's day and crack the case.
Are YOU ready to explore Penarth and solve the mystery of Captain Jock Robin's disappearance?

Please Note:
This is a circular walking Trail set in the delightful Victorian sea-side town of Penarth. It takes in all the best parts, the pier and promenade, the town and parks and interesting buildings of great design and quirkiness.
The pier and parks are all closed at dusk so make sure you finish in good time.
It is a good walk with some steep climbs and steps so not suitable for wheelchair users. There are toilets at the start and finish and part way through.
There are picnic places and shops and cafes along the way. From St Augustine's church, the highest point in Penarth about 220 feet above sea level, there are great views of Cardiff Bay and the Barrage, the Bristol Channel and on a clear day you can even see the towers of the Severn Bridges near Chepstow!
