The Tale of Two Bridges Treasure Trail starts at:

London Bridge Station
20 Stainer Street

Please Note:

This route is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs due to several sets of steps along the route. For an accessible Trail, try nearby Bankside or Pilgrims in Southwark.

This Trail takes you through a very busy city centre so we would not recommend bringing your four-legged friends along.

The start and end points of this Trail are close to London Bridge Station.

This Trail could be completed after dark, with a torch. No area of the Trail is closed after dusk.

Crossings of Tower Bridge can sometimes be restricted if the bridge is raised. Tall ships (over 9m) requiring the bridge to be lifted have to give 24 hours written notice, so it’s actually quite a privilege to catch this in action, and the whole process does not take long.

Access may be restricted to some parts of the Trail on some days due to special events in central London. For more information on planned events, please contact London’s Information Centre.

There are public toilets available at London Bridge Station, by the Tower of London and in other locations along the way. The route passes a good number of café’s, pubs and restaurants.

As well as these two iconic bridges, along the Trail you will see Old Billingsgate Market, the Tower of London, HMS Belfast and information about the ‘wrong’ London Bridge that was bought and shipped to the USA by mistake!

Why not make a day of it and try one of our other London Trails?
