Join Griff on this thrilling self-guided Treasure Hunt through the historic towns of Brough and Elloughton. As you follow the route, you'll encounter sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments, all leading you to the location of the buried treasure!
The linear Trail begins outside Brough railway station and takes you on an intriguing walk through the towns that were once separate but are now joined. Keep your eyes peeled for clues as you make your way to the final destination - The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, Elloughton.

Please Note:
This intriguing treasure hunt Walking Trail is set largely on flat footpaths so normal walking shoes will suffice. It is 1.7 miles long and will take approximately two hours to complete. Whilst suitable for pushchairs, regrettably the Trail is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Unlike most of our Trails, this is not a circular route. The Trail starts at the railway station in Brough and ends at The Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Elloughton. When you have finished, you will need to walk back to your car from Elloughton to Brough. Alternatively, there is a bus service between the two.
