Treasure Hunt Through Carlisle
Are you ready to take on the challenge of a lifetime? This family-friendly Treasure Hunt will lead you through the bustling Market Place, past grand buildings, coffee shops, museums, and parks, and introduce you to some of the town's current delights.
Start and finish your journey at the Tourist Information Centre, located at the northern end of Market Place. From there, follow the Trail route and keep your eyes peeled for sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments. Can you solve them all and uncover the location of the buried treasure?

Please Note:
The Trail explores the historical city of Carlisle taking you past the cathedral, castle and Tullie House Museum which are all worth a visit. It mainly follows pavements and footpaths. The closest car park to the start is The Lanes (CA3 8NX).
It will also introduce you to some of Carlisle's more current delights, grand buildings, coffee shops, pedestrian areas, museums parks and stores so plenty to do whilst you're visiting the city!
There are public toilets available in The Lanes shopping centre (CA3 8NS).
