The Truro For Whom the Bell Tolls Mystery Treasure Trail starts at:

Back Quay

Please Note:

This Trail has not been marked as accessible for wheelchair users due to some steps and uneven surfaces along the route. However, those with pushchairs should find this manageable. There are some steps encoutered after Clue 09, but lighter pushchairs can be carried here.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that the city centre can get very busy, so please keep your dog on a lead throughout the Trail.

The closest pay and display car park to this Trail's start point is located at Garras Wharf (JustPark location ID: 8348), just a 2 minute walk from Clue 01. Please visit their websites for information on parking and charges. A park and ride service is available from the East and West of the City too, dropping off at several places – although you’ll want to get off at Quay Street for this investigation!

There are some fantastic events in Truro’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful city. However, you may find that some of the Clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions (particularly during the festive period). If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Truro Tourist Information.

There are public toilets available at the start and end point of the Trail, and near a few Clues along the way. The route passes several pubs, restaurants and a few cafes throughout the City, with a fantastic picnic spot around Clues 07-10!

Why not make a whole day of it and visit Truro Cathedral or the Royal Cornwall Museum to learn more about Truro's history? You could even challenge yourself to our Enjoy Truro Trail and let out your inner treasure seeker!

The Truro For Whom the Bell Tolls Mystery Treasure Trail should be purchased prior to leaving home. Once you have your Trail booklet in your hand you're good to go!

The easiest and quickest way to get the most up to date version of the Truro For Whom the Bell Tolls Mystery Treasure Trail is to order a download version off the website. You will instantly get a link to download a PDF file of the Trail for you to print at home. This can be done at any time of day or night for instant access.

If you would like a hard copy, then choose the printed option online and we will pop one in the post for you to be delivered within 2-3 working days.

If you are looking to do the Trail today and don't have a printer, we do have a couple of local retailers (use the search below) or why not purchase a download and go to a local library where you can print it off. If there are no other options though, with a little patience (due to scale and format) the Trail can be used on a tablet and at a push a phone.

Sometimes you just want to speak to a real person though, so call one of the team on 01872 263692, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
