Things to do in Harrogate with the kids - Treasure Trail

Please Note: As much as we love people exploring on our Trails, now is not the right time. We want to help the NHS and protect all of you, so have decided to remove the facility for any Trail sales to be made on our website. As soon as social restrictions are relaxed, we'll make the Trails available again. If you would like to be informed as soon as this is, please drop us a note on the contact page.

Need a bit of retail therapy, or want to get a gift? You can still buy gift vouchers for future use.

The Harrogate 4 Kids - Valley Gardens Treasure Trail starts at:

Valley Drive
Harrogate
North Yorkshire
HG2 0JJ
England

This Trail has been written with younger pirates in mind! All the Clues have a picture to find enabling pre-readers to join in the search and be able to get involved with many of the easier Clues on this Trail, with guidance and help from adults or older siblings. Adults will need to help out with the directions and reading, but the whole family will be able to work together to find the ‘treasure’

The route is wholly within Valley Gardens so there are no roads to cross. The paths are wide with slight slopes in parts. Please note that scooters and bicycles are not allowed. Skateboards are allowed in the skatepark area only.

There is a playground, a café and public toilets within the park. There are also plenty of benches for a picnic.
