A trail of clues awaits in

Tynemouth

The Exploration Society has received an exciting new mission from the renowned archaeologist, Digger Tupp. After recent excavations at Tynemouth Priory, a mysterious cask was unearthed, containing a vellum map that is believed to lead to the location of the Great Golden Goblet. Legend has it that this precious cup was buried to protect it from the rampaging Vikings, but the map also contains false clues to throw off any treasure seekers. Digger has tasked YOU with following the trail and finding the true home of this ancient hoard.

The Great Golden Goblet Glee Trail

Grab your family and friends and get ready for an immersive self-guided walking adventure through the picturesque town of Tynemouth. The trail begins at Tynemouth Metro Station and takes you on a scenic route that includes a riverside walk and a visit to the Priory with its stunning coastal views. But the real treasure awaits at the golden sands and dunes of Longsands beach.

As you follow the trail, keep an eye out for sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments. Will YOU be the first to uncover the location of the Great Golden Goblet before any other curious treasure-seekers get their hands on it?

The challenge is on… Will YOU retrieve the priceless artefact and become a legendary explorer?
