Detective Mystery Trail
The Case of the Missing Carpenter
Scandal has overtaken the good folk of Whitburn! Recent documents discovered about Lewis Carroll reveal that, whilst he was staying at Whitburn, there were some less than savoury events occurring. His diary from the time tells about the disappearance of a local carpenter. It was plain to see Lewis wasn't involved, but he did make it the subject of his poem "The Walrus and the Carpenter"! Many locals were suspected of doing the dirty deed and lots of rumours have come out of the woodwork since. Who saw what? Who went against the grain? DCI Sandy Paper has now decided to make this historical case a joint investigation as the evidence is a bit like a jigsaw. The Chief is looking for a team of skilled detectives who know the drill and can chisel out any crucial clues! Are you up to this task?
