Mini Detective Club
We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.
Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite
them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from
the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...
The route is okay for pushchairs but unfortunately, wheelchair users will struggle with the steep hills, narrow pavements and a step just before the riverside path. There is one series of steps on the route but an alternate, step-free route is pointed out in the Trail.
Bring your four-legged friends along! This is a dog-friendly Trail.
The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is Monmouth Beach Car Park (DT7 3JN). If this is busy, then you also have the option of the larger Holmbush Car Park (DT7 3HX) which is a 10 minute walk to the start.
There are some fantastic events in Lyme Regis’ calendar, all of which are fantastic times to visit this beautiful town. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Visit Dorset.
There are public toilets available at Monmouth Beach Car Park, on the Cobb, the seafront, and Broad Street. The route passes several pubs, shops and cafes along the way.
Looking for more things to do in Lyme Regis? Make a day of it and go fossil hunting, or visit Lyme Regis Museum and Dinosaurland Fossil Museum to learn more twisting tales about the town’s past and dinosaur links. You could even challenge yourself to our Lyme Regis The Cobb & Harbour Treasure Hunt Trail and let out your inner treasure seeker!
