Local singer and member of a popular band, Molly Jones, was shocked to hear about the sudden disappearance of music mogul Maxwell Edison. Distinguished Chief Inspector Maxwell 'Silver' Hammer and his trusty sidekick Sergeant Pepper have been assigned to the case and have gathered a group of suspects and some evidence. But they need the help of some super detectives (that's YOU) to speed up the investigation. Can you all come together to solve this case and bring the culprit to justice?

It's going to be a hard day's night, but the city is counting on you to help solve the mystery of Maxwell Edison's disappearance. The police are hoping that the evidence will come together, and they need a street-smart detective to drum up new leads and raise the tempo of the investigation. What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...

Unfortunately, this Trail isn't suitable for wheelchair users due to steps along the route. Those with pushchairs should find this manageable.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that it is a busy city centre, so dogs will need to be kept on leads.

The closest pay and display car park to the Trail start point is along Gower Street (L3 4AS), less than a minute walk away. It's only a small car park, so try nearby Q-Park Liverpool ONE (L1 8LT) if full.

This Trail takes you around Liverpool's busy city centre, to places associated with the Beatles' story here. One such place is the Cavern Quarter encompassing Mathew Street a vibrant focal point in the Beatles' history and one that includes bars, restaurants and nightclubs. It is an extremely popular area and can be busy, so patience may be needed at times where a clue is located in a particularly favourite spot.

There are some fantastic events in Liverpool's calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful city. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Liverpool Tourist Information.

There are public toilets available towards the beginning of the Trail, and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way.

Why not make a day of it and visit The Beatles Story to explore even more memories of the Fab Four! If you fancy another challenge, you could have a go at one of the other Trails in our Liverpool collection!
