The Mysterious Disappearance of Tommy Rustle's Treasure

Tommy Rustle was once a wealthy merchant, known for his monopoly on the silk trade. But upon his death, his fortune mysteriously vanished without a trace! That is, until last week when a dredger on the River Trent discovered an ancient bottle containing a map drawn on silk. Could this be the key to finding Tommy's lost treasure?

Join the Exploration Society's top treasure seekers as they embark on a fun, family-friendly adventure through the charming village of Barton-under-Needwood. Your task is to crack the clues and pinpoint the spot where Tommy stashed his wealth. But be warned, this treasure hunt will be no easy feat!

Treasure Hunt Through Barton-under-Needwood

Get ready to explore the quaint village of Barton-under-Needwood on this self-guided treasure hunt themed Trail. Unlike our other Treasure Trails, this one provides an indication of where the answers to the clues may be found with a map and a series of pictures to help you along the way. Can you solve the sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments to discover the location of the buried treasure?

There are no set directions, start point, or end point for this Trail. Simply explore with a basic map to find the items in all the picture clues. We suggest starting and finishing at the Village Hall, which offers ample parking and is conveniently located near three of the clues.

Are YOU ready to join the hunt for Tommy Rustle's Treasure?
