Save Tewkesbury from a Stinky Flood!

Greedy scientist, Dr Fats Ludge, has created an evil substance that will block all the drains and create devastating floods, deeper than ever experienced before, in Tewkesbury and the surrounding countryside. Not only will the waters rise but a foul-smelling smog will invade the streets and houses from underwater stink bombs. All of this will be set off by a single device and Fats is demanding a huge ransom to deactivate it. But fear not, our brave spies, because Fats has gotten over-confident and scattered clues around the town that will lead to the device's deactivation code. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to crack the code and remove the threat to the town. But be careful, Dr Fats has his own gang out and about to try and stop you on your mission!

What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Please Note:

Tewkesbury floods regularly and frequently, so make sure you don't attempt to do the Trail after prolonged periods of rain. This is a useful website giving any flood warnings in the area.

There are a couple of kissing gates but they have been designed to enable wheelchairs to get through. At the end of the Trail, there is a choice of two tearooms or a pub so you can finish with refreshments.

There is one clue in the Abbey Porch at the end and the gates shut according to their website at 5.30 Monday to Saturday and at 6.00 on Sundays so make sure you leave plenty of time to finish the Trail.
