The people of Staffordshire were thrilled when the Staffordshire Hoard was discovered, and one local metal detectorist, "Treasure" Trev Digger, spent years tirelessly searching for more treasure around the Roman road in Sutton Park. After many years of searching, Trev finally hit the jackpot but hid his find in another location to keep it safe. Sadly, Trev passed away before he could claim his reward, but he left behind a map and instructions for his son, Lou T. Digger. Lou has sent the document to the Exploration Society, and now we need the help of the bravest explorers to follow the clues and uncover the location of Trev's hidden hoard. Please Note:

You will need to access The Sutton Park Visitor Centre to solve a clue along the route of this Trail. It is open all year from 10am to 6pm in the summer and 10am to 4.30pm in the winter, so please allow plenty of time to complete your quest.

We are currently unaware of any restrictions for dogs on this Trail, and whilst most of our Trails can be enjoyed with dogs, those in towns and cities may be less suitable due to traffic and a lack of open spaces. You may also encounter restricted access to parks etc.

We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.
