What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...

The Trail is not marked as friendly for wheelchairs due to some steps, hills and off-road terrain. Those with pushchairs should find this manageable, but please note that parts of the Trail may get a little muddy in wetter weather.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that this is a busy town centre, so dogs will need to be kept on leads.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at The Pantiles (TN2 5TN), just a two-minute walk away. However, there are a number of alternative car parks nearby if this one is full.

There are some fantastic events in Tunbridge Wells' calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful town. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Tunbridge Wells Visitor Information.

There are public toilets available at Calverley Grounds, near the middle of the Trail, and there is a myriad of cafes, restaurants, pubs and other eating establishments along the way.

Why not make a day of it with a little retail therapy around the fantastic shopping streets of Royal Tunbridge Wells? You could even take a trip outside the town to visit the magnificent High Rocks!
