A trail of clues awaits in

Richmond

Acclaimed Hollywood director, Stevie Spillburger, has chosen the picturesque town of Richmond as the filming location for his latest blockbuster, 'Louisiana Jones and the Lost Crown of Rich Mound'. But little did he know that his leading man, Harry Sunford, would stumble upon a mysterious bundle of old documents while on set.

Local archaeologist, Dusty Rocks, was quick to rush to the scene and demanded that filming be shut down. As Stevie fumes over the delay, Harry is left speechless. The documents turned out to be genuine and even included an ancient map with a series of scribbled clues. Could these clues lead to the real resting place of the legendary Crown of the Mound?

With Harry storming off in a huff, Stevie is now on the lookout for top adventurers (that's YOU!) to take on the starring role. The clock is ticking, and the time to act is now!

More Information:

Please Note:

Part of this Trail cannot be completed during the Richmond Live music festival which is usually held on the first weekend of August each year. Please check https://www.richmondlive.org/ for festival dates. You will need to detour through the town using a smartphone map and skip one Clue or use the SMS 'stuck on a clue' helpline to obtain this answer.

The route follows pavements and paved footpaths around Richmond with a couple of short steep sections.

These gradients along with several cobbled sections make it unsuitable for wheelchair users.

There are plenty of pubs, cafes and shops for refreshments in and around the market square where the Trail starts and finishes. Alternatively, take a picnic to enjoy by the riverside.

Public toilets are located in the suggested Long Stay car park and also along the riverside near the halfway point.

Some clues along the route of this Trail are set in areas of restricted access for dogs
