Top secret!

We've got a mission for you in

Mayfair

Something strange is afoot in the glamorous area of Mayfair. Ann Onymous, a long-time resident and GCHQ employee, has vanished without a trace after making some questionable comments online. Rumours are swirling that she may be a double-agent, and now a mysterious package has been delivered to her empty home.

Spy Mission Through Mayfair

Join our top agent, Jane Pond (0077), on an exciting Spy Mission themed Treasure Trail through the streets of Mayfair. Starting and ending at Green Park station, this circular easy-walking Trail will take you on a journey through the smart shops of Old and New Bond Street, past embassies and squares, and into the charming Shepherd Market, the site of the original May Fair.

But beware-this is no ordinary Trail. The package left behind by Ann Onymous is marked with curious sigils and makes strange noises, leading our agent to believe it may be booby-trapped. That's where YOU come in, Special Agents. It's up to YOU to solve the Clues and find the combination to the box, revealing its contents without setting off any defence mechanisms.

Are YOU ready to take on the mission and uncover the truth behind Ann Onymous' disappearance?

More Information:

Essential Intel

Some squares and gardens on this route may close after dusk, and access to Grosvenor Square may be blocked. Plan your mission for daylight hours where possible, keep your squad together on busy streets, and take extra care at road crossings. Mayfair may look polished, but this case has plenty of twists tucked behind the brass plaques.

Navigating The Route

This is a circular Spy Mission around Mayfair’s elegant streets, embassies, squares and gardens, with Agents working to crack the combination to a mysterious box sent to the empty home of missing GCHQ operative Ann Onymous.

The mission covers approximately 2.5 miles and should take around 2 hours to complete. Operatives will be weaving through smart streets, tucked-away lanes, historic squares, gardens and famous Mayfair spots as they gather intel and avoid any suspicious activity from enemy agents.

The route is level and easy-going, making this Trail suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Please note that the mission visits a few squares and gardens which may be shut after dusk, so daytime operations are strongly recommended.

Getting There

Time to gather your squad and enter the mission perimeter:

By public transport: The mission begins from Green Park Underground station. Use the Stratton Street exit, W1 8LR, then cross carefully towards Stratton House to begin the operation.

Green Park is served by the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines, making the Underground the easiest way to reach this central London mission.

By car: This is a central London route, so public transport is strongly recommended. No dedicated parking location is provided for this mission, so Agents travelling by car should plan parking independently before setting off and allow extra time.

Need the Loo?

Even elite field agents need a tactical comfort break before entering deep-cover territory. Public toilets can be found at Green Park station, so it is best to use them before starting the mission.

Bring Your Furry Sidekicks

Four-legged agents can join the operation 🐾

This is a level urban route with pavements, crossings, gardens, lanes and busy central London streets. Keep canine colleagues on a lead and close to your squad throughout, especially around traffic, crowded areas, squares and garden entrances. Check individual cafes, shops and indoor stops before taking dogs inside.

Food & Drink Stops

World-saving can be thirsty work, especially when enemy agents are prowling nearby.

There are plenty of chances to stop for refreshments or pick up snacks along the route. If you have packed supplies, Grosvenor Square is suggested as a picnic spot around Clues 13-14, although access to the square may be blocked. If that happens, continue with the mission route and keep your picnic plans flexible.

Want to Make a Day of It?

Berkeley Square

The route takes Agents into Berkeley Square, one of Mayfair’s best-known green spaces. It is a smart place to pause briefly, scan the area and practise looking casual while gathering intel among the statues, gates and garden paths.

Handel and Hendrix Museum

The mission passes the building linked to Handel and Hendrix on Brook Street. It is a brilliant extra stop for Agents interested in music history, hidden connections and the slightly wild idea that two musical legends lived next door to each other across the centuries.

Shepherd Market

The final stretch heads into Shepherd Market, built on the site of the historic May Fair that gave Mayfair its name. Developed by Edward Shepherd between 1735 and 1746, it once included paved alleys, a duck pond, a two-storey market and a theatre.

Mayfair Streets and Squares

This mission explores some of London’s smartest streets, with grand buildings, embassies, hidden lanes and polished squares giving the whole operation a properly high-stakes feel. Keep your cover story ready - in Mayfair, even the lampposts look like they might know state secrets.

Mini Secret Agent Club

We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.
