Can You Unpack This Puzzling (Suit) Case?

Local travel agent Faye Cashun has been doing a roaring trade, sending tourists away on package holidays here, there and everywhere! But something dodgy is afoot. Her website has been hacked, and customers are ending up in the wrong places entirely: Melbourne, Derbyshire instead of Melbourne, Australia, Boston, Lincolnshire instead of Boston, Massachusetts, and Hollywood, Birmingham instead of... well, you get the idea.

Detective Chief Inspector Lou Dight has taken on the case, but technology is not his strong suit. He needs sharp, tech-savvy Detectives to hit the streets, follow the clues and expose the travel trickster before any more holidays go wildly off course. Bon voyage, Squad... it’s time to hit the road!

Mystery Adventure Through Medieval Market Harborough

What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Navigating The Route

This is a circular Detective Mystery through Market Harborough’s town centre, historic streets and pedestrianised areas, with sleuths following pavements and clear paths as they work to uncover who tampered with Faye Cashun’s travel bookings.

The investigation takes place on pavements and well maintained paths throughout, making it suitable for both wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Important: You will be travelling through busy town streets and crossing roads at several points, so detectives should use pedestrian crossings where available, stay alert at all times and keep younger team members under close supervision.

Take extra care along High Street, where traffic and footfall can be heavier.

PLEASE NOTE - The Memorial Garden (Clue 13) closes at 6pm so make sure you leave plenty of time to get there before then!

Getting There

By car: Symington Way or Mill Hill Car Parks (LE16 7XA) are the closest options to the start of your investigation.

By public transport: Market Harborough is well served by bus and rail links, with the town centre within easy walking distance from transport hubs.

Need the Loo?

Even top detectives need a comfort break during a long case!

Toilets can be found in The Commons Car Park after Clue 13 and in the Market building on St Mary’s Walk after Clue 15 (note that these are closed on Mondays), so plan your stops carefully as your investigation unfolds.

Bring Your Furry Sidekicks

Four-legged detectives are welcome on the case! With a mix of town streets and pedestrian areas, it’s a great outing for canine companions - just keep leads handy near roads and busier sections.

Food & Drink Stops

There are plenty of shops, cafés and places to grab refreshments throughout the town centre, so it’s easy to refuel as you follow the trail of clues.
