We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Please Note:

The route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs due to unavoidable steps and steep stretches.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that dogs will need to be kept on leads. Dogs may be able to access the beach as well - subject to seasonal restrictions.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at Trinity Square (CT9 1HR), just a 10 minute walk away; however, there is a slightly closer car park with a max. four-hour stay at Market Street (CT9 1ED).

There are some fantastic events in Margate’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful seaside retreat. However, you may find that some of the Clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Margate Visitor Information.

There are public toilets available near Clue 17, and the route passes several refreshment stops, snack shops and ice cream parlours for a post-investigation reward! There are no children’s play areas on the route, but there is the beach, which is great for picnics in good weather.

Why not make a day of it and visit Turner Contemporary to examine more masterpieces or investigate the superbly strange Shell Grotto? For some classic seaside shenanigans, dart through Dreamland vintage theme park for fantastic fun for the whole family.
