In the late 19th century and early 20th century, the riverside region of Maidenhead was known as 'Mayfair on the Thames'. Its reputation as a playground for the rich and famous attracted many to its luxurious detached villas. But one man, Des Astor, was not so fortunate. Consumed by insane jealousy, he has planted a device beneath Boulton's Weir that makes water expand, threatening to flood Ray Mill Island and dampen the lovely homes nearby. Des' acquaintance, Lee King, has alerted the authorities, but Des has gone into hiding. The clock is ticking, and it's up to YOU, our top agents, to solve the clues and identify the deactivation code before it's too late!

Follow the route along the riverbank, through a quiet residential area, and to the lock area and stunning Ray Mill Island. Keep in mind that although Ray Mill Island is open year-round during daylight hours, it may be closed in winter due to a high running river and potential flooding. But don't let that stop you from embarking on this exciting adventure!
