The Spoon of Thor - A Viking Adventure on Lindisfarne Island
Long ago, on an island where the black rocks stand guard, Noggin Dennog, son of Knut, found a spoon upon the dunes. He took it home and showed his Aunty Gudrun who declared, "Why Noggin! You have found The Spoon of Thor! You must return it to whence you found it or the gods will be angry!" Terrified of retribution, Noggin, accompanied by his aunt, set off to re-bury the fabled spoon.

Embark on an exciting self-guided Treasure Hunt with your family and friends on Lindisfarne Island. As you explore the island, you'll follow a fun-filled storyline inspired by the legend of Gudrun of the Northlands and her quest to find The Spoon of Thor.
Your adventure begins at the main car park, where you'll be transported back in time to the days of the Vikings. Follow the trail of runes scattered throughout the dunes, deciphering clues and solving puzzles along the way.
As you make your way around the island, you'll discover hidden gems and permanent features that will guide you closer to your goal. But be warned-the island is cut off by the tide twice a day, so make sure to check the crossing times before you set off on your adventure!
