Navigating The Route
This is a circular mission through Keswick’s town centre, parks and riverside paths, with agents following pavements, footpaths and some quieter roads. The route is mostly straightforward with just a few steps, making it mostly manageable for pushchairs, though not fully accessible throughout but is not suitable for wheelchairs. There are also sections near roads and river crossings though, so stay alert and keep your team moving carefully - blending in is key to staying undercover!
Getting There
Time to deploy your agents and begin the operation:
Market Square, outside Moot Hall (CA12 5JR) - Your official mission start point, right in the heart of town.
Central Car Park, Heads Road (CA12 5DP) - Closest parking option to the start.
Lakeside Car Park (CA12 5DJ) - Another good option near where your mission wraps up.
Need the Loo?
Even elite agents need a quick comfort break!
Toilets can be found at Bell Close Car Park (near Market Square, around Clue 03) and at Lakeside Car Park later in the mission.
Bring Your Furry Sidekicks
Four-legged agents are welcome to join your mission.
Keswick’s parks and riverside paths make great terrain for canine companions - just keep leads handy near roads and busier areas.
Safe Zones & Refuelling
There are plenty of chances to pick up supplies in the early part of the mission (before Clue 06), with more options later around Clues 15 and 16. Hope Park near the end is a perfect safe zone, with a café and space to regroup before completing your final intel sweep.
Want to Make a Day of It?
Parks, Rivers & Scenic Surveillance
This mission takes you through some of Keswick’s most scenic spots, from leafy parks to riverside paths and lakeside views. Ideal for a slightly more relaxed undercover operation… just don’t let your guard down!
Museums, Mines & Pencil Power
Keswick is famous for its graphite mining history and the quirky Pencil Museum - the very thing you’re trying to save! Keep an eye out for nods to this along the route.
Cafés, Crazy Golf & Agent Downtime
Once your mission is complete, Hope Park offers the perfect place to unwind - with a café, crazy golf and even a chance to snap a photo with Max the Miracle Dog. Mission success deserves a proper debrief!
