The Curious Case of the Woodbridge UFO - Can YOU Crack the Code?

For decades, members of the Suffolk UFO Club of Spotters (SUCS) have been searching for the truth behind the mysterious sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) just outside Woodbridge. Rumours of a cover-up have only fuelled their determination to uncover the truth…and they may be onto something! Recently, a locked capsule made of an unknown metal has been unearthed, and it's up to YOU, a member of SUCS, to crack the code and reveal the secrets within.

Spy Mission Through Woodbridge - Elmhurst Park & River

Are you ready for a thrilling Spy Mission through the charming town of Woodbridge? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to evade enemy agents and crack the clues while exploring the town's scenic river, town centre, and Elmhurst Park. What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore Woodbridge, there are a few things you need to know...

The route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users due to some stretches along grassed areas and uneven terrain; however, those with pushchairs should find this manageable.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that dogs will need to be kept on leads throughout the route, and are subject to local bylaws.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at Deben Leisure Centre (IP12 4AU), just a three-minute walk away.

There are some fantastic events in Woodbridge’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful town. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. Please check for events before setting off.

There are public toilets available towards the middle of the Trail, and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way.

Looking for more things to do in Woodbridge? Make a day of it and visit Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum or the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo to learn more twisting tales about Suffolk’s past.
