The Case of the Muddled Up Evidence - Can YOU Help Solve the Mystery?

It's complete mayhem at the local police station! The station's star detective, Chief Inspector Saha Truncheon, has finally solved the 1983 St Neots High School kidnap case and is ready to present the evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service so that an arrest warrant can be issued. Unfortunately his 'bag man', Detective Constable Han Kuffs, whilst moving the evidence files of this and over a dozen other cases, tripped down the stairs and all the paperwork has got muddled up. Kuffs' only option is to re-examine, and revisit, all the clues that led to the identification of the kidnapper. Before tomorrow! Unfortunately, Kuffs is in court in London all day giving evidence so he is reaching out to his best detective consultants to save his skin - are you up to the task?

What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore St Neots, there are a few things you need to know...

The route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users or pushchairs due to a short flight of unavoidable steps.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that dogs will need to be kept on leads throughout the route, and are subject to local bylaws.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at Riverside (PE19 7SA), where your case begins.

There are some fantastic events in St Neots’ calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful town. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. We recommend checking for events before you set off on your investigation.

There are public toilets available towards the beginning and end of the Trail, and the route passes some refreshment stops between Clues 10-15.

Looking for more things to do in St Neots? Make a day of it and visit St Neots' Museum to learn more twisting tales about the town’s past, or head over to the nearby Paxton Pits Nature Reserve for some more outdoor fun!
