In 1718, the notorious pirate Captain Francis 'Frenchie' Creek retired to his home on the Helford River with chests of gold as his pension fund. But just as he was settling into his retirement, he mysteriously vanished, leaving behind only a treasure map and clues to the location of his hidden hoard.

Now, the Exploration Society needs your help to follow the curious clues and uncover the pirate's lost treasure. Are YOU ready for an exciting adventure through the riverside route from St Keverne to Helford?

Get ready for a family-friendly treasure hunt through the scenic Cornish countryside on this self-guided Trail. Starting in the charming town of St Keverne, you'll follow the Helford River to Manaccan, with its beautiful views of Gillan Creek.

As you make your way along the Trail, keep an eye out for sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and intriguing monuments. And don't forget to enjoy the traditional Cornish lanes and 'hedgerows' along the way.
