The Annual Literary Festival has arrived in Hay-on-Wye, and with it, a suspicious disappearance. Enid Wrighton, one of the festival's most famous authors, has had her handwritten manuscript for her latest blockbuster stolen from her hotel room. She suspects one of the other famous authors staying in the hotel, but has received a threatening note demanding a ransom of £10,000 for its return. The thief claims to be armed and threatens to destroy the manuscript if the police are involved. That's where you come in.

Book Heist in Hay-on-Wye

Starting and ending in the large car park by the Tourist Information Bureau, this scenic route will take you through the town and along the River Wye, passing by many historic places of interest.

As you follow the Trail route, keep your eyes peeled for sneaky clues cleverly hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments.
