A trail of clues awaits in
Haslemere
In the 19th century, the roads around Haslemere were a treacherous place for travellers. Robbers and highwaymen were a constant threat, but none were as notorious as Stan Dandyliver. Unlike his fellow highwaymen, Stan preferred to hold up stagecoaches on foot, earning him the nickname "the footpad." But despite his unconventional methods, Stan was highly skilled and boasted of robbing more travellers than all his peers combined. He amassed a large fortune during his life, and before meeting his demise on the gallows at Gibbet Hill, he left behind a map and clues to his hidden treasure.
