Attention all agents! Your country needs you in the town of Hartlepool. You've been deployed as part of the HARTLEE (Heroic Agents Repelling Their Long Established Enemies) team, tasked with cracking coded messages being sent by the REEL (Really Evil Espionage League) - a notorious group of enemy spies!

In years gone by, REEL had occupied an observation post just off the coast of Hartlepool. Locally known as Elephant Rock, this base mysteriously vanished one night, leaving behind nothing but whispers and rumours. But now, on your first day in town, you intercept a message from REEL that suggests they are planning to build a new observation post, codenamed Monkey Mount. The message also includes a series of clues that point to the coordinates of their planned location. Can you help crack this code and thwart their evil scheme?

Spy Mission Through Historic Hartlepool

Get ready for a thrilling and immersive spy mission as you explore the historic town of Hartlepool on this self-guided Treasure Trail. Starting near St Hilda's Church, you'll follow the Trail route and solve sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments to crack the code and complete the mission, just like a true secret agent.
