Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore Farnham, there are a few things you need to know…
Farnham Castle Keep and Museum subject to opening times: 9am to 5pm weekdays, 10am to 4pm weekends. There are no clues in the castle grounds, but you may wish to visit the castle on your way around.
The route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs. This is due to steep hills and the use of steps along the way.
Bring your four-legged friends along! This Trail is dog friendly. Please note that the route begins in the town centre, so dogs will need to be kept on leads.
The closest long-stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at the Waggon Yard (GU9 7PA), just a few minutes’ walk away.
There are some fantastic events in Farnham’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful town. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. Please check for any events before you set off.
There are public toilets available towards the beginning of the Trail and in the Central car park, and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way.
