In the small village of Eyam, a great mystery has been uncovered. In 1665, when the plague hit, the villagers hid their valuables for fear of the worst. But when one man entrusted with the task of safeguarding their wealth passed away, the secret of their whereabouts was lost. Now, it's up to YOU to follow the trail of clues and discover the lost treasures of the plague village.

Treasure Hunt Through History

Embark on an exciting self-guided Treasure Hunt through the historic village of Eyam. Starting at the museum, you'll explore the village and discover what life was like during the plague. Along the way, you'll visit the church, boundary stone, and take in stunning views before finishing at the village square.

But beware-you're not alone in this quest! The Derbyshire Amateur Treasure Hunters (DeATHs) have also uncovered copies of the notes and map left behind by the man entrusted with the villagers' wealth. Now, it's a race against time to be the first to uncover the lost treasures of Eyam!
