Unleashing Wallace's Lost Legacy - A Fun-Filled Adventure for the Whole Family

Everyone knows the story of the legendary Scottish hero, William Wallace, and his brave fight for freedom. But did you know that he may have left behind a hidden treasure in his birthplace of Elderslie?

Local builder Andy Mann recently uncovered a set of ancient documents hidden in the walls of a house he was renovating. These documents contain a map and scribbled notes that could be a series of clues left behind by Wallace himself. Now, Andy is seeking skilled explorers to help him decipher the documents and unearth the lost treasure.

Treasure Hunt Through Wallace's Birthplace

Ready for an immersive self-guided treasure hunt that will take you on a journey through the historic village of Elderslie? Along the way, you'll explore the 18-hole golf club with its stunning panoramic views and search for clues around the William Wallace memorial.

But be careful, the trail won't be easy. Wallace was known for his cunning tactics, so you'll need to use your sharp mind to solve the clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments.

Do YOU have what it takes to unearth Wallace's lost legacy?

Before You Set Off

Please Note:

This Trail has been marked as pushchair friendly, though there are 3-4 steps encountered along the route that smaller pushchairs and buggies should be easily able to access.

It includes a steep hill and regrettably is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
