The town of East Grinstead is a unique location, as it is where the Greenwich Meridian meets. Standing at the right spot, you can have one foot in the east and one in the west! But something even more extraordinary happened here when a large chunk of sandstone was quarried to mark the location of the Meridian line. The ancient remains of a long-forgotten dinosaur were unearthed, but they mysteriously vanished within a day of their discovery! Now, world-famous archaeologist Professor Den Bones needs YOUR help to track down the valuable bones. Are YOU up for the challenge, Adventurers?
We're Going on a Dinosaur Hunt!
Get ready for a family-friendly, self-guided walking adventure through the historic town of East Grinstead. As you follow the Trail route, you'll be on the lookout for clues scattered around the town, leading you to the location of the missing dinosaur bones. Starting at the library and information centre, you'll pass by several listed buildings on High Street, explore the Old Town, and visit St Swithuns Church Grounds, Chequer Mead Theatre Arts Centre, the Water Tower, and Sackville College.
