The Missing Caps of Digbeth - A Treasure Hunt Adventure!

Ahoy, brave Adventurers! We need your help on a quest of utmost importance!

Embark on a thrilling self-guided treasure hunt through the bustling streets of Digbeth. As you wander past the Victorian factories and along the canal basin, keep an eye out for clues that will lead you to the long-lost caps of the notorious Peaky Blinders.

Millie Nary, the current Keeper of the Caps, has suffered a blow to the head and lost her memory. She needs your help to find the hidden caps before the upcoming Blinders' wedding next month. Are you up for the challenge?

Treasure Hunt Through Digbeth

Prepare for an exciting adventure through the industrial heart of Digbeth. As you explore the town, you'll come across Bird's Custard, Typhoo Tea, and other iconic landmarks. But beware, the caps are hidden in clever and misleading locations, and only the most cunning treasure hunters will be able to crack the clues.

Your journey begins at the Digbeth Canal Basin, where Ivor Titfer, a member of the Peaky Blinders gang, used to collect their flat caps. From there, you'll weave through the town, solving riddles and puzzles that will lead you to the final destination.

Do you have what it takes to find the missing caps and become a hero to the Blinders? Put on your detective hat and get ready for a thrilling treasure hunt adventure through Digbeth!

What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...

The route is friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that it is a busy city centre, so dogs will need to be kept on leads.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at Trinity Street on Heath Mill Lane (B9 4AL), just a five-minute walk away.

There are some fantastic events in Digbeth's and Birmingham's calendars, all of which are great times to pay a visit. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Birmingham Tourist Information.

There are public toilets available towards the beginning of the Trail, and the route passes several pubs, restaurants and cafes along the way.

Why not make a day of it pop into the city for some retail therapy after completing your quest? Or, if you're up for another challenge, you could tackle one of our Birmingham Trails!
