The Blooming-Marvellous Espionage Adventure!

St Austell and the surrounding area are abuzz with excitement as they await the results of the prestigious Britain in Bloom Awards. But, there's trouble brewing in this idyllic town. Rumor has it that one of the towns has hired the notorious plant expert, Dr Violet Gardener, to sabotage the competition. With her team of henchmen, she has planted a device that will spray an extra-strong fertilizer, causing the plants to bloom too early and die before the judging takes place. Lucky for us, Violet isn't the most discreet evil genius and has left a trail of clues along the Green Corridor. It's up to you - our top agents - to follow the trail, solve the clues, and crack the deactivation code before it's too late!

A Family-Friendly Spy Mission Along the Green Corridor

Looking for a fun day out with family and friends in Clay Country? Look no further than this self-guided spy mission themed Treasure Trail. Starting at Holy Trinity church in St Austell, this one-way leisurely cycling or walking Trail will take you along the Green Corridor, following the bed of an old branch railway line.

As you journey through the lush greenery, keep your eyes peeled for sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments. Can you solve them all and complete the mission just like a true secret agent?

Don't let Dr Violet Gardener win! Put your spy skills to the test and save the Britain in Bloom Awards!

What is a Treasure Trail?

Before You Set Off

Please Note:

This Trail is a linear route Trail that will take approximately 1.5 hours to solve all the Clues en route. The return route retraces the Trail route back to St Austell, so please bear this in mind when purchasing this Trail.

Although this Trail is marked as wheelchair friendly, there is a steep hill with no pavement encountered for the first part.

This Trail is Dog friendly trail, as long as they are keppt on a lead for the first part, while on the roads. Once on the cycle network pathway, they can be let off but please aware of cyclists and keep your pets under control as and when they pass.

Toilets and refreshments are available at the furthest point of the Trail before returning back to the start.
