The route follows mostly flat pavements and well maintained paths throughout, making it suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Need the Loo?

Even the most intrepid explorers need a quick pit stop! Toilets can be found near the start on Tower Street, again within Priory Park (around Clues 07-08), and later at Cornmarket Car Park after Clue 10, giving you several well-timed opportunities to pause during your quest.

Bring Your Furry Sidekicks

Four-legged explorers are welcome on the quest 🐾 However, dogs are not permitted inside Priory Park, so if your team includes a canine companion, you will need to follow the alternative route provided to solve the clue and continue your adventure.

Food & Drink Stops

Treasure hunting is hungry work! There are plenty of cafés, pubs and restaurants throughout the city centre, making it easy to refuel as you explore.

If the weather’s kind, you can enjoy a picnic in Priory Park (Clues 07-08) or later in the Bishop’s Palace Gardens (around Clue 16) - both excellent spots to pause and plan your next move.
