A trail of clues awaits in
Camel Trail
According to local legend, the infamous pirate ship, the Black Swallow, took refuge in the Camel Estuary during a fierce winter storm in 1823. The ship was spotted gliding up the river towards Wadebridge, a haunting sight that sent shivers down the spines of onlookers. But by daybreak, the ship and its crew had disappeared without a trace. Recently, a series of golden sovereigns believed to be from the Black Swallow have been found along the banks of the river, along with a weathered treasure map floating in a bottle in the shallows. Our team at the Exploration Society has been tasked with investigating these findings, and we need YOU - our top treasure seekers - to follow the curious clues along the River Camel and uncover the final location of the Black Swallow's lost treasure. Good luck!
