The Prince's Lost Treasure Hunt
It was the year 1643 and Prince Lovealot was on a journey through the town of Abingdon in search of a bride. Everywhere he went, the townspeople were eager to catch a glimpse of the Prince and his lavish carriage. But in the chaos of the crowd, the Prince was separated from his precious jewels and gold that he planned to give to his future bride.
Heartbroken by the loss of his treasure, the Prince quickly left Abingdon and never returned. To this day, the whereabouts of his lost treasure remains a mystery. Some say it is still buried somewhere in the town, waiting to be discovered. But beware, the Marauding Menaces, a gang of looters, are also on the hunt for the Prince's treasure and will stop at nothing to find it!

Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Please Note:
There is a section of the Trail route (Clues 15 to 18) which can get very muddy after heavy rain, so we strongly advise suitable footwear. This area is also prone to flooding after extreme weather, so do check ahead before setting off.
Also, towards the end of the Trail, there is a section with no lighting, so we recommend that you set off on your adventure at least two hours before dusk.
