Top secret!

We've got a mission for you in

Abbey Road & Lord's

After being disqualified for ball-tampering, embittered county cricketer Lewis Duckworth-Stern has hatched a wicked plan to ensure that rain stops play for every cricket match held at Lord's this year. Our intel reveals that he's had his henchmen stash a rain machine in the area, ready to cause a downpour on match days. We can't let that happen! Fortunately, our top agents have a mole among the henchmen. Agent Clem 'Sticky' Wickett has scattered clues around the cricket ground to help us decipher the device's four-digit deactivation code. It's up to YOU to tiptoe around the town, solve the clues, and crack the code before the dark clouds over St John's Wood take over.

Spy Adventure Through Abbey Road and Lord's

Get ready for an immersive self-guided spy adventure through the iconic locations of Abbey Road and Lord's. As you navigate the streets of St John's Wood, you'll uncover sneaky clues hidden in historic buildings, permanent features, and intriguing monuments. Keep your guard up-the henchmen could be lurking nearby, ready to throw you off their scent.

Your mission begins at Abbey Road Studios, where the infamous Beatles album cover was shot. From there, onto the legendary Lord's Cricket Ground. But be warned-Lewis Duckworth-Stern is always one step ahead, and only the most daring and clever agents will be able to solve the case and save the day.

The fate of the cricket matches at Lord's rests in YOUR hands. Can YOU crack the code and stop the rain?

More Information:

Navigating The Route

This is a circular spy mission through St John’s Wood, Abbey Road and around Lord’s Cricket Ground, with agents following pavements, side streets, parks and quiet residential roads as they track down clues to stop Lewis Duckworth-Stern’s weather-warping device.

The route is level and fully paved throughout, making it suitable for both wheelchairs and pushchairs.

⚠️ Important: You will be travelling along busy urban streets, crossing multiple roads and navigating areas with traffic and cyclists, so agents should stay alert at all times, use crossings where available and keep Mini Agents under close supervision.

Some parts of the mission are not accessible after dusk, so plan your operation in daylight hours to avoid missing vital intel.

Getting There

Time to deploy your agents and begin the mission:

By car: On-street parking is available in the surrounding area, though spaces can be limited - allow extra time to secure your undercover parking spot.

By public transport: Reach the mission zone via the London Underground Jubilee Line to St John’s Wood Station (NW8 6DN), which is right at the start point.

Your mission begins outside St John’s Wood Station - carefully cross Finchley Road and take Grove End Road to start gathering your first piece of intel.

Need the Loo?

Even elite agents need a quick comfort break!

Toilets can be found around Clue 07 and again between Clues 17-19, so it’s worth timing your stop as you progress through the mission.

Bring Your Furry Sidekicks

Four-legged agents are welcome on this mission 🐾

With a mix of pavements, parks and quieter streets, it’s a suitable outing for canine companions - just keep leads handy near roads and in busier areas.

Food & Drink Stops

Agents, plan your supplies carefully!

There are opportunities to refuel towards the end of your mission in St John’s Wood village centre, with cafés and shops providing a handy place to regroup and recharge.

You may also wish to bring snacks or a picnic to enjoy in one of the parks along the route.

Want to Make a Day of It?

Abbey Road and Musical Legends

Walk in the footsteps of music history at the world-famous Abbey Road crossing - just be sure to stay in character while snapping any undercover photos.

Lord’s Cricket Ground and Sporting Heritage

Known as the ‘Home of Cricket’, Lord’s adds a brilliant sporting backdrop to your mission - and plenty of intrigue for a plot built around match-day sabotage.

Parks, Gardens and Urban Green Spaces

From Abbey Gardens to quieter squares along the route, there are plenty of green spaces to pause, regroup and keep an eye out for suspicious activity.

Mini Secret Agent Club

We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.
