After heavy periods of rain, the river can sometimes overspill causing a flood, making the final clues inaccessible. 

The stunning city of York attracts thousands of visitors each year. Whether you follow this Trail as a local or a sightseer, it will become obvious why such high numbers flock to the destination and highlight why it remains so popular.

With hordes of activities along the Trail, you will be hard pushed to resist the urge to deviate, if only for some well earned refreshments!

This exciting Spy Walking Trail is city centre based but rest assured you will be surprised and delighted along the route. Set mostly on flat footpaths, normal walking shoes will suffice. The two mile, two hour Trail should not pose any difficulties for pushchairs.

We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.
